An ideal location for fast following streams species of birds in Kathmandu is Sundarijal. Fresh water stream with waterfall and huge rocks are its characteristic. It is lies Northeast of the valley. The lower part is covered by lesser forested area and upper parts are forested adjoining with Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park.
