pharping
The first hydro - electric station in Nepal lies at Pharping. It is situated Southwest from Kathmandu. Mostly forest is covered by secondary forest dominated by chir pine.The area is quite familiar for common forest birds.

It is about 20 km from the Kathmandu and takes around 40 minutes by private vehicle. Alternatively you can ride public buses go to Dachinkali From Ratnapark and takes about an hour .You have to get off at Dallu Khola.
