Remaining another lake in Kathmandu valley is Nagdaha. It is lies at Dhapakhel of Lalitpur district. Nagdaha which legends relates was created by Manjusri to provide a home for Baski Nags which lived in great valley lake. Still the people around Nagdaha believe that the Basuki Nags are still resident in the lake .During Teej Festival ( This festival is celebrated by mostly married women wishing and praying for long life of their husbands ) at Saptrishi temple and day of Nagpanchami at Basukithan celebrates festival. Some resident, winter visitor and summer visitor water related birds take stopover in this lake. Common moorhen, common coot , white – breasted waterhen and common kingfisher are breeding birds in the lake. You can enjoy fishing and boating in this Natural lake .

It takes around 45 minutes by private vehicle from Kathmandu. If you travel by public bus , buses leave from Lagankhel buspark to Dhapakhel via Satdobato .You have to get off at Tinkune and walk to left side around 25 minutes.
